Next project - cams

Well, haven't done anything performance wise to the GreyGT in awhile. So I decided to order a set of cams for the mustang. I ordered a set from Cushman Motorsports, CMS N/A stage 1 cams. They're the same grind as the VT stage 1 cams. Once they get here I'll be tearing into the engine. Can't wait to start this project! :tim:

You will like the CMS cams...better numbers then any other Stage 1s out there.

I'm just debating on epoxying my garage floor before or after the cam swap. Most likely going to do the floor next weekend after Christmas. The wife will be going out of town, so I wont have to worry about the fumes. Plus I have those few days off! :o
Then I'll start tearing the car apart once I get it back into the garage.

Well, I epoxied the garage floor yesterday. Once it's dry and I can get the stang back in, I'll start tearing the engine apart. :tim:

Well here's an update. After the stang has been sitting torn apart for the past month. Making no progress on it because of work. I've decided to take the car to Mid Atlantic Performance to install the cams and have a dyno tune. I'll be dropping it off next Thursday the 4th. :tim:

Checked on the car today, he has an hour or so of tuning left that he'll get to tonight. It will be ready to pick up tomorrow. Only problem is it's supposed to ice and snow tomorrow into to Wednesday. So, we'll see...

Just got home from picking the stang up.
She feels great, from what I can tell on the ride home, in the rain.
Thursday it's suposed to be dry and I have day off.
So, I'll take it out and romp on it then! :tim:

Yeah, I drove it to work Wednesday of last week.
Have to say, next to the gears, this is one of the best mods I've done to the car. The cams really woke the car up. From 2000rpms up, she runs like a beast.

The stang is back at the shop this weekend. Replacing the Front O2 sensors and tweaking my tune.
